What to do while you wait
- Stay safe. Don’t climb onto a wet roof or go up during wind or lightning.
- Catch the water. Move furniture and electronics out of the way and put down buckets and towels.
- Keep clear of wet electrical. If water is near light fixtures or outlets, stay away from them and, if you can do it safely, switch off that circuit at the breaker.
- Watch the ceiling. If drywall is sagging or bulging with water, keep people and pets out from under it.
- Take photos. Photograph the damage inside, and the roof from the ground, for your records and any insurance conversation.
- Call or text us at (480) 465-1641 with your address and what you’re seeing. Photos help.
When roof leaks happen in the Valley
Most emergency calls follow weather. Monsoon storms bring wind-driven rain that pushes water sideways under tiles and shingles, can tear off shingles or shift tiles, and can dump more water on a flat roof than its drains can handle. Winter storms are different: long, steady rain that soaks a roof for hours and finds worn underlayment, tired flashing, or a seam that has been slowly opening. Leaks can also start after other work on the roof cracks tiles or disturbs flashing.
What happens when you reach us
We talk through what’s going on and what you can do right away to limit damage. When it’s safe to be on the roof, we find where the water is actually getting in and stop it. Sometimes the first step is a temporary fix to keep water out, followed by a permanent repair once conditions allow. Before any permanent repair, you get a clear explanation and a written estimate. Our work comes with a warranty; terms are in your written estimate.
We handle emergency leaks on tile, shingle, and flat and foam roofs. Not an emergency? Our regular hours are Monday–Friday 7 AM–5 PM and Saturday 8 AM–4 PM, and inspections are free. See roof repair.
